Respawn Entertainment is working on a new first-person shooter. That is what Venturebeat sources claim.
The game would not be a new installment in the Titanfall franchise, but would focus on ‘style’ and mobility. It would also be a ‘single player adventure’ and have ‘AAA ambitions’.
“Respawn will spend the next year or more prototyping its new game, then the developer will create a full product,” Venturebeat claims. The shooter should launch in 2024 or 2025.
The rumor comes after the departure of director Mohammad Alavi, who is said to have been involved in the project. It is not yet clear where he will work in the future.
Respawn Entertainment is also reportedly working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game would be unveiled this year.
