Game platform Steam once again broke the record for most players. At the peak, some 22 million gamers were online at the same time.
Last weekend, 20 million users were simultaneously running Steam. This weekend, the game platform has already broken last week’s record, with more than 22 million players simultaneously at the peak of the day.
Doom Eternal also had a good weekend on Steam. At the busiest time on the weekend of its release, approximately 105,000 people simultaneously played the latest installment in the Doom franchise. In the past 24 hours, 85,000 players were playing Doom Eternal at the same time.
Doom Eternal is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will be released later on the Nintendo Switch.
